About Macy

Macy Ruiz has worked for the Rentokil family of brands for 30 years. He was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, where he lived for almost 30 years. After attending the University of Guadalajara, Macy worked five years as a lead researcher and professor at the Faculty in Autlan, Jalisco. He then moved to the US, where he married his wife, Gloria, and became a California Agricultural Pest Control Adviser. Shortly after, Macy and his family decided to move to North Carolina, where he found The Steritech Group, Inc. Steritech hired Macy as a Service Specialist in 1993, and he received his NC State certifications on P&W and his Structural Pest Control License in 1996. Macy became a Board Certified Entomologist in 2003 after passing the Entomological Society of America testing program, and he is still part of the ESA. In 2015, The Steritech Group, Inc. was sold to Rentokil, and Macy was offered the position of Technical Services Manager.
